At Flea Market Love Letters we are big, big fans of the work From Me to You is doing so when they asked me, Liz, to judge their 5 Senses of Summer Letter Writing Competition to say I was touched is an understatement.

From the Desk Of...

Every month we aim to write and share relevant blogs on letter writing or collecting! This segment of the newsletter is where you'll find them all in one place. 

For 6 months I've been writing about Vintage Letter Writing Guides...and this one has me stumped. I'd love to know your thoughts, reader! 

When I read "Marcel's Letters" by friend of the archive Carolyn Porter I held my breath, I laughed, and I cried. Do you love found letters, letter writing, history, love, France, detective work etc.? This book needs to be on your shelf! 

Last month on the blog I took a look at my identity as a Philatelist. In this blog, I embraced my nerd-iness and had so much fun playing "History Detective" with three international vintage postcards. Come along as we learn a bit about the history of India, Italy, and Belgium via their Stamps! 

Recently, a letter loving friend of mine (Hello, Liz Kentish!) made letter biscuits for Dinah, of The Handwritten Letter Appreciation Society. To say I was inspired is an understatement. This was a fun Saturday afternoon indeed! (Full baking credit goes to my wonderful, patient partner Sam.)

Talking Letters..

Abigail from the blog "Abigail's Blessings" recently reached out and asked to chat all things letters. I couldn't be happier to have the chance to talk with enthusiastic vintage fans and letter lovers like Abigail. Bonus points for "Marcel's Letters" making a surprise appearance too! 

When the lovely Julian Hamilton, co-founder of The Good Summit, asked me along to the new "Keeping It Good" Podcast I had to say yes! We had a great conversation about the fundamental connectivity of letter writing.
