Hello Letter Lovers...

2,300 & Counting!

Every Spring we update the archive records. In 2024 there are approximately 2,300 letters in the archive with just 700 shared since our start in 2017. If nuggets of snail mail trivia like that are up your alley, check out our blog here.

'Dear Elizabeth'

You know we're always looking for 'Songs About Letters'. This cover of 'Dear Elizabeth' by Liverpool musician Nathan Carter is one for your playlists. The lyrics come from a genuine love letter. We love celebrating the letter and this is a beautiful tune.

Kids Letter Books

In a deviation from the regular 'Books About Letters' format this month we put together a Kids and Middle Grade edition of the review series. The letter will survive if we teach little ones the marvelous magic of post.

Postal Fashions

If you're a subscriber of this newsletter, chances are you have a more than average interest in postal history. This blog post from The Postal Museum covers how the U.K. uniform has adapted and changed with the times. Fall down the rabbit hole with us!

'Found' Letters?

Here at Flea Market H.Q. we throw around a lot of lingo! Have you ever wondered what we mean when we call a series of letters 'found letters'? Wonder no more!

Handwriting Robots

There's something to be said for a handwritten note. The company 'Handwrytten' loves the sentiment behind a handwritten note so much so that they're teaching robots how to write them. What do you think?

Write More Letters

Wear your letter love for all the world to see with a tee, tote or mug from our 'Write More Letters' Project. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the charity Hope for the Warriors which helps U.S. veterans and military families.
