September 26, 1946.

Dear Harry,

When my mother calls me a Scatter Brain– or a nitwit in future– I shall not dispute her any more.

I’ve just this very minute returned from the post-box, after sending you some affidavit forms (which you will probably receive the same time as this). Now I am home I’ve just remembered that I omitted to tell you that you must attach to the forms a copy of your Army Discharge. This is very important.

So try and send both together– dear!

I must hurry now and catch the post.

Good-bye-now

Love

Sandy
