Love Letters Come Alive

Welcome in 2024! We're starting the year with a worldwide premiere of 'Vintage Love Letters Come Alive', a short film we produced with friend of the archive, Rafal Kostrzewa. In this short documentary style video you'll hear from 4 of the series we've shared in our almost 7 years of archiving.

To mark the occasion of the premiere, I wrote a bit about the experiencing of writing, producing and filming the video. I have been so looking forward to sharing this with the Flea Market Love Letters community that it's been hard to wait this long but I hope you'll agree the wait was worthwhile.

Books About Letters, a review series, is back! We're starting 2024 with Anne Berest's 'The Postcard'. If this book is any indication of how we mean to go on...get excited. 

The Davis Letters

A new year means a new series! The first letterof the Davis series features was a doozy to transcribe. It involved scans and colored filters to try and decipher the 104 year old message! 

From Ukraine

Recently, I was told of this fascinating interview with the Director of the National Postal Museum and Post Master General of Ukraine about Ukraine's postal service during the ongoing war. It is a must watch.

POW Letters
