Hello Darling,

Did you have a happy birthday? I was thinking about you today wondering what you were doing. It just started to rain here – hope it doesn’t keep up, I don’t have an umbrella.

I was awfully busy today, that’s why I didn’t write before. I must mail this at 5 o’clock and it is now 4:15 and I have a 4:30 appointment.

Gave a 1.50 perm this morning to Elise Morris and have been rather busy ever since.

Mary + I went to the show – Miss Baker went too. I liked it only she shot herself in the end. She is a very beautiful girl, I think I like her. There was a Walt Disney funny picture called the “Furry Little Bunnies”. It was in technicolor. Gee it was swell.

After the show we went home and made some orange juice and read the funny paper then to bed. I haven’t slept well, I hope I sleep better tonite – it sort of getting on my nerves.

I’ll be glad when you are home – I miss you so terribly. Must you go down every week? I guess I’ll have to get used to it.

Here’s my appointment!

Your own,

Nelda

Lots of kisses
