"Hello Nonie, I'm back from the Hospital and I feel as good as ever. I'm not allowed to go back to school just yet, but I'm going to the doctor's tonight to find out when I can start. Mother is canning peaches, and tomatoes. When I have more time I'll write you a letter; so until then, I'll say goodbye. Love, Madalyn"
