Monday

My darling:

Cornell is taking a bath now and we are going to the last show which starts in fifteen minutes -- so I am in a rush to write this we have been playing bridge with the folks and they really cleaned us.

This has been another rainy day. I went over the Billy’s this morning and we went to town an fooled around. He finally decided to go back to drive and left at one thirty.

Cornell and I went to town this afternoon and bought some clothes. I got a pretty suit and I think you will like it.

Your letter was sweet today. I thought about Pat’s brother last night after I had gone to bed. I kinda got the hots about your saying he was [unreadable]. Bill or Pat should have told him the deal. If they had been good friends they would have --- oh well.

I love you darling -- with all my heart.

Always,

Jimmy

P.S. I love you
