Hello Letter Lovers...

Books About Letters

It appears that epistolary books are 'having a moment'. Recently on our social media I shared a favorite of mine, the short and eerie and timely 'Address Unknown' by Katherine Kressmann Taylor.

Then NPR ran this piece with author Virginia Evans about her novel 'The Correspondent' -- about which many of you written into the archive to share thoughts and feelings!

Which got me thinking that if you (like me) enjoy 'Books About Letters' you might not know that on the Flea Market Love Letters website we have a collection of reviews and titles for letter loving bibliophiles. If you have a book about letters that you don't see on our list please reply to this email with your recommendation!

'Postmarked'

On Wednesday March 11th, 2026 we held our virtual 'Postmarked: Exploring the Flea Market Love Letters Archive' event. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the hour. If you'd like to catch the recording you can now do so on YouTube!

Mystery Solved

When two granddaughters -- one of a Holocaust survivor and the other her childhood pen pal --  came together it was letters that helped fill in the 'missing pages' of a story lost to time.

'Letter Keepers'

A mother-daughter run tea shop in British Columbia has become an official 'Letter Keeper' partner for 'The Sunday Letter' project.

Donate a Letter

Did you know that it's actually demonstrably good for your mental health to do something --anything--  kind for someone else? I'd recommend starting with penning a few letters to the From Me to You 'Donate a Letter' programme

Write More Letters

I'm excited to be heading off soon on my own annual pen pal meetup (our 2024 Paris trip captured below). My 'Write More Letters' tee is packed and ready to go.

If you'd like to sport your own postal pride you can learn more here and feel proud to know that 100% of the proceeds from our 'Write More Letters' campaign go to the charity 'Hope for the Warriors' which helps U.S. veterans and military families.
