June Read-Along: "Love" Letters

9 Months Along... 

When we launched the Write More Letters Project in September 2020 it was with a wing and a prayer. Now thanks to the continued generous support of the Flea Market Love Letters community we've raised over $500 for Hope For The Warriors. Thank you from the bottom of my letter loving heart.

May's Writing Through the Decades entry is one of the most eye catching covers yet. I found this particular edition on Ebay and can confirm it is both neither entirely new nor did it cost one shilling...

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to talk with students at Brookfield Library in Connecticut about letters and the book Julia Alvarez's "Return to Sender". 

Here at Flea Market Love Letters we are all "letter lovers" but there's another name for fans of letters and postal history: philatelists. So what exactly does that mean? Check out our blog to find out!
