Did you know that sending a friend, or a complete stranger, a letter can improve your day 110%*?This time of year can be a bit stress-y and bleak at the best of times. Sending a postcard, a ten-pager, whatever you fancy will almost certainly bring a smile to your face and the face of the recipient. Go on, give it a go! 

*As if you'd need a real study to know that this is true.

New Series

And with the start of 2023, so comes our 24th series! Introducing the Lauterbach Letters.

So far we've shared just two letters from 1914 and 1919, but we look forward to more of you lovely readers meeting the writer Anna as she pens her brother and sister-in-law.

In 2021, I set myself a challenge to read a letter from Letters of Note Volume 1and Letters of Note Volume 2. My favorite letter of all of them? Sol LeWitt's letter to Eva Hesse, as read here by Benedict Cumberbatch.
