Maureen O'Hara & The Letters 

This week screen legend Maureen O'Hara would have turned 100 years old. O'Hara was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1920. In 1952 she returned to Ireland with co-star John Wayne and Director, John Ford, to shoot The Quiet Man. 

After her death in 2015, letters where Ford's romantic interests in the 1950s red head bombshell were discovered among her papers. At auction in 2016 the bundle fetched over $75,000.00.

These instances have been around the world in: Dublin, Ireland; Easton, Pennsylvania, and even Lucerne, Switzerland! This is the story of how I was able to see Dublin "Here & Now" thanks to vintage Postcards in the collection.
