Dear Mom:
What do you know! Emily and I went to the movies last night and saw “Hold Your Man” with Clark Gable + Jean Harlow It sure was one swell picture you ought not to miss it. Boys we sure did have some awful weather down here, it rained continually all night and day how was the weather up there? And by the way hows your leg getting along? I hope its all right. Mom do you think you and daddy could put together and send me down 50¢ in your next letter because you see Mr. Cascadere could not sell my half ticket, saturday is a bad day for that because most of the people go up sunday not saturday. And I won’t have enough money to last me the rest of the week. Emily and I are going to the skating rink tonight, they supply you with skates at the rink we are having a perfectly wonderful time down here and I am right at home because you see right next door to us a man raises rabbits he has a great big grassy yard where he keeps them some of them are only just born and there the cutest little things I ever saw, he has all colors. White, brown, black, greyest white. Emily and I often go in and feed the rabbits. You ought to see the baby how big and fat it is it was just 5 months old today. I haven’t got very sunburnt yet because there hasn’t been much sun. Well hows all the family? And most of all hows the rabbit?
Well I hope to hear from you real soon.
Lovingly yours,
Jeanie
