Dear Grandma, Aunt Mim and all,
At last I have found time to drop you a few lines to let you know that I am fine and everything is going first rate. I want to thank all of you for coming over while I was home as it surely made my [unreadable] complete to see you all again. I hope that you enjoyed your visit with Mother and Dad as I know how much they enjoyed having you with them. I wish that I could have seen you all more but consider my self lucky to have had as much time home as I did. It certainly was a full six days and I’m telling you it was mighty hard getting on that train to come back. Never knowing when I will get another chance to come home. I hope that it won’t be too long however. I suppose that it is getting to be spring back there in the north and all your [unreadable] are of the garden yet to be planted. I received a letter from Ruth dated the 8th of April saying it was -4 degrees below and snowing. They didn’t even think that spring was going to come. Well I guess that is about all for now. Please write soon.
Love to all,
Tom
