The "Love Attendant".

Thanks to longtime friend of the Flea Market Love Letters archive Nitin Garg for making this custom one-of-a-kind cocktail for us! Called "The Love Attendant" check out Nitin's unique recipe below.

This delicious drink takes:

  • 30 ml Cherry Infused Gin

  • 30 ml Martini Bianco

  • 20 ml home-made mint oleo

  • 2 dashes peychaud bitters

First, for your cherry infused gin in a container take 150 ml of Gin and add around 10 big cherries cut in half but with the stone. Add 20gm sugar and stir leave it overnight. Voila! In the morning you will have a lovely pink colored cherry gin.

Next, for the mint oleo put 2 parts water and 1 part sugar in a pan. Add 50gm of fresh or 30gm of dried mint. Bring to a boil then simmer for 10 minutes while stirring constantly. Double strain the mixture then with a coffee filter or muslin cloth for a super fine strain.

Now for the garnish! For the mint dust take dried mint or dry fresh mint in the oven at 150 degrees for 2 hours. Using a grinder make a fine dust. To make the mint stick, rub your chosen serving glass with lemon and sprinkle the mint on to stick.

For the final touch put gin, vermouth, oleo in a mixing glass, now add your two dashes of bitters top up with ice and give a quick str for 20-25 seconds. Double strain in a lovely mint dust coated Nick & Nora glass. Feel free to use a big cherry for garnish (leftover from the infusion)!
