October 28, 1910.

Kutztown, PA

Dear Bro,

Haven’t heard from you since I left. I came to visit to see whether you were living. I was at the Kutztown fair but hadn’t much fun. I had the “Blues like hell” the first Sunday I was husking corn till Monday expect to go hunting on Tuesday.

How fun -- are you -- there with yarn work I suppose done with the corn. If the work is plenty up there I’m coming up till Wed or Thurs. So let me know before Tuesday if you haven't got any work. I’m coming up later on a hunting trip.

I got a double barrel shotgun this week but I didn’t shoot anything with it yet. So don’t forget to answer per return mail.

Your Bro,

L. Ditter
