Hello Letter Lovers...

Thank You

'Tis the season of giving thanks. We're so thankful to have you as part of the Flea Market Love Letters community. We're aware that times are tough. That's why we've stuffed this month's newsletter chock full of ways you can help communities around the world with a little bit of heart, but especially a pen and paper.

Pounds of Pet Food

The brand 'Chewy' are encouraging any four legged friends to write a letter to Santa this season and in doing so, donate a pound of food to one of their animal charity partners. With up to 600,000 pounds available for donation this is a paw-sitively must-do for any pet parents!

Adopt a Letter

The USPS initiative 'Operation Santa' which started in 1912 is looking for folks to adopt letters 'to' Santa and help spread a little holiday cheer by fulfilling a child's wish. Letters are open for adoption starting November 18th with T&Cs.

Christmas Card Appeal

Have you started your holiday cards yet? Why not add a few strangers to your list this year and write for the From Me to You Christmas Card Campaign? All letters received before December 11th will be shared with their network.

If you can spare even £5, that allows From Me to You to purchase 5 stamps for donated letters.

Lost Letter Stories

Regular readers of the newsletter know that every month we share a few 'found' letter stories from around the world. This month we put some old and new stories together in a special edition blog post. Enjoy!

Letter Writing Café

Emulating the South Korean 'letter writing café' model where visitors can write and leave a letter for the owner to post at an allotted time -- tomorrow or in a decade --Café Pli has opened in Paris. Sounds perfect!

Write More Letters

The weather is finally starting to turn chilly which means it's the perfect time to bring home a 'Write More Letters' sweatshirt/jumper. Or add a 'Write More Letters' mug to your mug rotation this winter.

100% of the funds raised go to 'Hope for the Warriors' to support U.S. Veterans and military families.

Talking Letters

Thank you to Ciara Kelly and Shane Coleman of Newstalk Breakfast for having me on the show recently to chat about the importance of teaching kid's handwriting.

We were psyched when Emily Stochl, host of the 'Pre-loved Podcast', got in touch to chat about how found photographs and letters shape our perspective of history for Mildew Magazine

Special thanks to Jennifer Bishop, founder of 'The London Letters', who very kindly invited us to answer some questions about letter writing, collecting and the future of the handwritten letter.
