Hello Letter Lovers...

'How To Write Love Letters'

Flea Market is going on the road later this month for the E.P. launch of  'How To Write Love Letters' by musician Nick Hilder.

Are you ready for one of those 'It could only happen in Flea Market Love Letters' land stories? This is a special event because it was our 1914 letter writing guide which made it into a collage piece that ultimately inspired the album cover for his songwriting.

Lost French Letters

When historian Renaud Morieux of the University of Cambridge found scores of unopened 18th century French letters in a British archive, he said: 

"'I had to basically pull the string a bit like a Christmas gift,'[ he told NPR.] 

'My heart started to beat faster and I felt like, 'Ooh, this looks like really cool stuff...There might be some secrets in there.'"

Family Letters

Recently with it being Veterans, or Remembrance, Day the must-read story of Harry and Eileen's letters came across the bulletin. Harry's 32 WW2 era letters to his late wife Eileen were discovered in 1999 after his death and compiled into a book by the couple's son, for the family and now us.
