Hello Letter Lovers...

A Father Found Again 💌

If you enjoy letter stories, firstly you are absolutely in the right place! When this gem from the National Geographic came across my social feed this month I knew I had to share it with you, reader.

When her father was killed in action during World War II, Sharon promised her paternal grandparents she would someday find her dad. Click here to read the full story and see how letters played a part in solving this heartbreaking family mystery.

Postal Museum Pals

This October I was lucky enough to visit the London Postal Museum. Thanks to friend and fellow letter lover Liz Kentish for organizing the tour which included a ride on the fantastic underground 'mail rail'. Thanks to the Postal Museum for having us. I already can't wait to get back!

Thanks for Listening

This month started with the very exciting opportunity to speak about the archive at a Smithsonian Postal Museum event. Thank you the Museum for having us, thank you  to all who reached out, and thank you to those who were able to attend.  And if you weren't able to join, but should like to know more about the evening, there will be a recording which I'll be sharing.

Charity Christmas Cards

Have your Christmas cards all ready? Why not send a few to the charity From Me to You before December 9th? And if you need help getting started, sign up to join From Me to You for their December 8th letter writing workshop, here

Write More Letters

Through the sale of stickers, mugs, totes, tees, and hoodies we raise funds for the charity "Hope For the Warriors" which benefits U.S. Veterans and Military families. Thank you to all who have supported the initiative and continue to spread the letter writing word!

A Book About Letters

It's hard to believe we're already talking about November but it's not hard to believe that we're talking about this month's exciting addition to the 'Book About Letters' series which is Kathryn Baird's 'Fifty Mystery Postcards'.

Talking Letters

Thanks to Kieran and the team at 'The Hard Shoulder' on NewstalkFM for having me on earlier this week to chat about why letter writing-- especially for kids! -- is important.
