Hello Letter Lovers...

Post has Power

Chances are you're subscribed to this newsletter because you like letters and letter writing. I'm so grateful that you do -- and even more grateful to have you here with us. You matter. Without you our little community wouldn't be the special place it is for letter lovers all around the world. Thanks for being here!

Women on Wheels

Alison, friend of the archive and co-founder of the charity 'From Me to You', is just days away from beginning her 21-day epic co-cycle with the equally amazing Siobhan — all to raise vital funds for the charity. Can you support this dynamic duo? Every small bit helps!

Within the Walls

This heartwarming story from Arkansas, U.S., is a dream for romantics. While renovating a 1930s farmhouse into a restaurant, workers began uncovering letters that had been hidden within the walls for decades.

Lost & Found

While out magnet fishing in a canal in the U.K. a woman found a bundle of 1960s letters which have now been returned to the couple who were recently burgled. That must be a first!

Thank You

This article about Ellen Webster, who has sent 10,000 thank-you letters, asks the perfect question: 'Who can I find today to thank?'

Wartime Letters

If you love Flea Market Love Letters, you'll be fascinated by this story. Andrew Carroll, author and director of the Center for American War Letters— another incredible (and much larger!) archive — recently traveled to Alabama to receive a donation of 11,000 wartime letters from a private collector.
