Dear Friend
I have been planning to write to you for some time. But I haven’t had to much time. But today I had a little spare time and am trying to catch up with my writing. I am well and feeling fine, and hope to here the same from you. I heard that C.S. was in the army. Well I hope that he likes it. If you will send me his address I will write him. I like to write and like to received mail. My mind wanders back some time to when it was just a little fellow and when I used to work for you. And wonder what I am going to do when I get back home. How are all your folks getting along. Tell Johnie Lou if she every have time to write me a few lines. And as news is pretty short I must close for this time. Answer real soon and let me know how every one is.
Your Friend
