July 21, 1943.

Dear Ralph,

I heard that you have been in the hospital, you’re mother was telling me. I do hope your fine now.

I was talking to your mother to day about you and we miss you, all of us.

We are all pretty well and your cousin Johnny was home on furlough and we had a picnic with him Sunday. He went back to day. We hope it will not be long before you will have a furlough too.

We are all working pretty hard maybe not as hard as you but we must all do our part.

Don’t write because I know you are busy. Once in a while I will drop you a line.

Love from us all,

Your Aunt Mary
